ATI: Introduction to the Neural Activation Screen | October 6th / 7th

Have you ever had the patient you knew was just missing something? It could be the “motor moron” who can’t activate the lower abdominals and deep core muscles, or the athlete who can’t seem to fully get over his hamstring strain. Chances are that missing piece of their rehab is what the Neural Activation Screen (NAS) is designed to identify and remedy. The NAS eliminates acute or chronic neurological dysfunction that does not respond to prolonged rest, standard rehabilitation or pharmacological intervention. Eliminating this neurological dysfunction as part of your rehabilitation program will result in faster, more successful clinical outcomes. The NAS also allows practitioners to identify and correct functional pathology in the motor system that are a neurological precursor of non-contact injury.

In this course we will cover the NAS and how you can incorporate these techniques into your treatment approach. Saturday / Sunday will be lecture, and Monday / Tuesday we will be supporting participants in the clinic to help apply what you learn.

When: October 6th, 9:00am - 4:00pm; October 7th 9:00am - 1:00pm; followed by in-clinic assistance on the 8th and 9th

Where: ATI at 925 Meacham Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL
